a week agoI switched providers at 30 weeks pregnant and requested my medical records in December. As of March 22, my records have still not been released. I stayed with this office until 30 weeks primarily because their weekend and late evening hours worked well with my schedule. In hindsight, I should have left much earlier after the first few incidents. Although the staff and doctors are generally friendly, the level of organization and care coordination was extremely poor. Several of my appointments ended up providing no actual medical care while my insurance was still billed hundreds of dollars. For example, I scheduled appointments specifically for required blood draws and waited over 30 minutes only for the doctor to come in and tell me the phlebotomist had already left for the day and no one had informed me. My insurance was still billed for the visit even though nothing related to my care was discussed. This happened more than once before I was eventually told I could simply walk in during the morning hours for labs. That information should have been communicated from the beginning. I experienced a similar issue when trying to complete my glucose test. I specifically asked the scheduler to make sure my next appointment was within the correct timeframe because the doctor had told me the test would be done at that visit. When I arrived, I was told I had been scheduled too early and would need to come back another day. Again, no care was provided during that appointment but it was still billed to my insurance. The situation that ultimately led me to leave involved my insurance coverage. When the office stopped accepting my insurance, I was told I could complete continuity of care paperwork so I could remain under their care through the rest of my pregnancy. I asked what the process would be and was told the office would submit the paperwork and that I would be contacted once a decision was made. When I had not heard anything as my next appointment approached, I called my insurance company myself and was told that nothing had ever been submitted by the office. At this point I just gave up. Between repeated scheduling errors, lack of communication regarding test results, billing for visits where no care was actually provided, and constant confusion around basic processes, my experience here became increasingly frustrating. After transferring my care, my new provider requested my medical records from this office in December. As of March, those records still have not been released. Because of that delay, my new doctors were unable to review my prior labs, blood pressure readings, and prenatal history when I later developed preeclampsia. At this point the delay in releasing my records is far beyond the required timeframe for providing patient records. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility.

a week agoAfter multiple attempts to get doctors to take me seriously, I finally gave it one last try. I am SO GLAD I did!! I was treated with compassion and care, given an immediate ultrasound, had blood drawn there in the office, and a follow-up on the labs within two days. My quality of life was given priority instead of being put on the back burner. Dr. Cardeiro (forgive me if I spelled it wrong!) is knowledgeable about the condition I was concerned about, and took my concerns and pain seriously. Thank you, MomDoc, for giving me hope showing me compassion and kindness!

2 weeks agoNever again. I booked my appointment yesterday for 12:30 today and was told I didn’t have an appointment and that they were fully booked. Highly disappointed
