Exceptional Community Hospital – Maricopa

I would like to give a shoutout to one of my nurses here i’ve been in the hospital for almost about 2 days everything went so quick with being registered and called back into a room and being seen i couldn’t be more thankful for the emergency department and then i got admitted and i have had best experience with everything my nurses my doctors they have listened to all my concerns and took care of right away i definitely recommend coming here for your emergency’s but i have to shout out a few nurses i don’t remember there names on the top of my head lol but the two i will never forget is nurse Elizabeth and nurse Myiesha they made me feel so comfortable and safe and let me rant my little heart out lol❤️ but there so amazing and very well deserved to be recognized! i have never met such awesome nurses that actually care for me

Dr green who was in charge when we came in and is amazing and very understanding of the whole medical field. He explained many things to us regarding the industry which helped understand things better. Previous bad experience here but looks like they are making some changes. My wife has a neurological issue that we are working on figuring out. Glad we went there. We're getting closer now thanks to this hospital They can't do everything there but at least we know what to do now. I can also say the rooms for admission are very nice. Visited a friend a month ago. Large room with one bed. Don't see that often c

We went here for an er visit for my son's abdominal pain, asked if cigna open access was a plan that they are in network with. We were told yes. 1 we later we get charged for $44000.00 bill and the ladies we talked to would not answer our questions or were non-compliant, especially with asking for a read out on the plans they do take. We have since tried calling billing only to be met with crickets. They have used deceptive tactics, upcoded on the bill, and over charged for something that should have been covered with costing no more than $250.00 since the deductible was met and the website shows that benefits will be honored regardless of in/out of network status. Will be filing a complaint with az medical board and insurance board. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.
