Absolutely amazing. I’ve seen him several times over the years for my neck, back, shoulders etc. At one point I had dislocated my shoulder, tore my bicep and messed up my rotator cuff. I went to Doc for a couple months and he was able to fix it good as new without any kind of surgery or outside help. All natural, real care. Not just another doctor throwing drugs at or putting a bandage on the problem. It’s hard to find a doctor that actually cares but he does and he’s very good at what he does.

Tried to schedule a simple spinal decompression session at A‑1 Health & Wellness and was met with one of the most unhelpful phone experiences I’ve had. The woman insisted decompression is only for people with injuries or car accidents, which is completely wrong. Athletes use decompression constantly, it’s basic recovery, not some rare medical procedure. I explained that I’m former military and both my wife and I are athletes, and she still refused to let us come in without referrals, imaging, and a bunch of unnecessary steps. Do I need a doctor’s referral to stretch? To use a sauna? To take an ice bath? We were ready to pay out of pocket for two sessions, but her attitude and lack of knowledge made sure someone else will get our business. If you’re going to represent a wellness center, at least understand the wellness part.

Wow! They really live up to the name here. Dr. Donahue and May have been so lovely to work with. Dr. Donahue is a caring, thorough, very knowledgeable, and kind Dr. He is always so pleasant, and has been an integral part of my healing process.
