3 months agoMy first visit. Dr Lori Gaytan was thorough and she spent 2 hours with me taking down all by medical history and current condition. I’m new to the community and happy that I found Dr Gaytan. She seems knowledgeable about my issues and demonstrates care and compassion when treating my symptoms. The office personnel are helpful and friendly. I had blood drawn & have to say the phlebotomist knew her job well. Quick and painless!!

3 months agoI have been taking both of my kids to this practice for awhile now and typically we see Sultan and have had nothing but great experiences with him. This last visit however, we had the great displeasure of being seen by Digeorge. My daughter was experiencing high fevers coupled with vomiting and I was unsure if it was the flu or if she had an infection from a tooth thats been bothering her since the tooth pain started at the same time as the fever and vomiting. I had let the medical assistant know all of this when we got there and she expressed the same concern. Digeorge came into the exam room and without asking any questions immediately examined my daughters ears and throat, patted her on the back (pretty aggressively I might add) looked at me and said “time to get her to the dentist”. I told him that I would love to take her to the dentist, but I didn’t want to take her while she was experiencing the high fever and vomiting. I asked if there was any concern of infection and he said “well she doesn’t have a fever now”. I grabbed my belongings ready to leave because I was frustrated that he wasn’t listening to me when he realized I was visibly upset and said “well what do you want me to do about it?” I told him that she may not have a fever right now but that she wakes up every hour- 30 min every night screaming in pain with a high fever and typically throwing up so there is clearly something wrong. After several minutes of going back and forth he finally ordered a flu, covid and strep test. She tested positive for strep. He then came back to give me the results and said “I guess a mother’s intuition is right now get her to the dentist”. If we hadn’t had such positive experiences with Sultan and the rest of the medical staff, I would never step foot back in that building based off of that visit alone. I have never been treated with such disrespect and dismissiveness. I strongly urge all parents to choose their providers carefully and avoid Digeorge at all costs.
