I am extremely disappointed to have to write this review, and apologize it’s length, but I feel it is important for other parents to be aware of serious concerns regarding safety, professionalism, and culture at this gym. One of the most alarming incidents involved Coach Kyra introducing a product called “Goodbye Stress” supplements to the athletes prior to a major competition. She spoke to the athletes and told them they would be taking it, and even showed them the product before confirming with parents. This supplement is clearly labeled for adult (18+) use and not recommended for children. It is also a relaxant, which could potentially impair coordination and reaction time—something that is extremely concerning in a sport where safety and precision are critical. This is not something that should ever be experimented with before a competition. While she later apologized, the damage to my trust in the gym’s judgment and safety standards was already done. Additionally, Coach Kyra’s behavior toward parents is inconsistent and often unprofessional. She is selective in who she treats respectfully. There are a handful of parents she is kind to, while others—including myself—are ignored entirely, without even a basic greeting. This creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. There have also been multiple inappropriate interactions with the athletes. In one instance, she shared a photo in a team group chat of an athlete falling, captioned “now that we can laugh about it.” The image captured a moment that could have resulted in injury, and instead of addressing it appropriately, it led to the athletes laughing at the expense of another girl. This escalated into teasing that later had to be addressed by parents. Again, an apology followed—but the situation should never have occurred in the first place. Another deeply concerning moment involved a racially insensitive comment during what appeared to be a game with the athletes. Coach Kyra described one athlete (a Caucasia little girl) as “raw chicken” going into an imaginary oven, and another athlete (a African American little girl) as “burnt chicken” coming out. The girls audibly reacted, and one athlete became visibly upset. Coach Kyra attempted to backtrack by saying “no offense,” but the comment was inappropriate and unacceptable and the damage had been done to that child. Overall, the culture at this gym feels unhealthy and, at times, toxic. There is a lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and behavior that does not align with what I would expect in a youth athletic environment. I have reported these concerns to USA Cheer and other appropriate channels. It is truly disappointing to have had this experience. Looking back, I now see similar concerns reflected in other reviews, and I wish I had paid closer attention beforehand. It may have saved my daughter and me from going through this.

normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. The quality of work here has drastically declined, and the atmosphere is troubling. The views expressed by the current management show a disturbing lack of empathy and compassion for others. Ever since the original owner passed away, the business has been in the hands of someone who does not treat people with decency or respect. In fact, there have been multiple accounts of this person making extremely inappropriate and harmful comments—including telling people to harm themselves. That is not only unprofessional, it is inhumane. I cannot in good conscience recommend supporting this business under its current leadership.

My daughter loves this place! She always leaves telling me all the new things she learned, by name, and new friends that she is making.

No structure at all. There was about 6 or 7 kids in our trial class with two teachers. one girl sat there while the other set up about 5 station, explained them, and then expected a bunch of 3-5 year olds to remember each station and do them alone. They were just standing around and looking for instruction. It was a good way to let kids meet up and play, but you can do that for free at a park. It was not instructive or a learning environment if you want your child to actually develop tumbling skills. Overall disappointing.
