9 months agoWould give this place less than 1 star if possible. Awful billing practices. The extremely high cost of electric not withstanding, this company takes forever to process documents and billing is very shady. I moved the service at a residence from a deceased persons name and 5 months later, still dealing with additional charges. They are another case of monopolistic policies in the area I live in. Shame on them.

a year agoIt would be nice to see ed3 actually attempt outreach before disconnecting services (other than a text). I use the pay by day meter. We travel a lot, sometimes I get caught up in meetings and it easily slips my mind. I have not been able to get autopay to work on our account. We still have not heard back a resolution on this...so I am stuck trying to navigate this the best I can... Providing other methods of contact, like a phone call, before disconnecting power is more than reasonable. In addition, giving 24 hours notice if the meter balance falls below $0, is also more than reasonable, not 90 minutes. Its just very frustrating. I don't mind paying a fee if I forget, but there is zero room for accidental errors. Ed3 is more than capable of being more accommodating to prevent a disconnection if they truly cared. I know I sound like an echo chamber as all of this has been suggest by others previously... but they have made zero effort to make this easier on people.

a year agoThis company is the worst. They are diabolical and use dishonest / unethical practices on customer experiencing financial hardship.
