EDIT: I see that the owner mentioned internal biological shifts. I want to confirm that the endodontist himself stated that it wasn't due to anatomy issues. That was actually the first thing they ruled out after taking two separate X-rays. That's the purpose of x-rays. So that doesn't apply to what occured in your office. Accountability is essential, especially for a business. I see now that I may need legal guidance, as blaming internal biological issues being the cause is a way to not take accountability, especially after seeing x-rays. Fast forward to today, when getting the permanent filling, the owner decided to enter the station/suite to confront me regarding my original review. I listened, but when I didn't agree, he became very argumentative and passive aggressive. I politely stated, "we can agree to disagree". He left, came back with more to say. I then said, "I'm not going to argue with you". He then stomped off and swung his hand as if motioning "whatever". Thankfully he wasn't asigned to me, and despite the owners aggression, the hygienist and other ladies in the office were very kind. The owner definitely has a temper which is very concerning. I became a patient back in 2025. I had about 2 cleanings and a repaired cracked crown at this office, and never had any issues. Until one morning, I woke up at 2am in excruciating pain. I contacted the emergency line, but no one responded. At around 3/330am, my husband contacted the same number as I was in extreme distress. He was then told that someone would contact him back when the office opened at 8am. I still don't understand why he received a response, but I didn't. Or why they even have an emergency line if nothing is done until the office opens. Nonetheless, someone called at 8am and I was able to be seen at 1030am (8 hours of pain). Upon arrival, I was brought back and told that I had a severe tooth abcess, and needed to go to an endodontist to have it drained. We were shocked, because I've never had any major dental issues before, let alone an infection. One of the hygienist even said "Oh my gosh, you must be in a lot of pain", after seeing the X-rays. Um, YES I AM. That's why I contacted the emergency line at 2am. I was so confused because I have exceptional dental hygiene (floss 2x a day, sometimes 3, and obviously brush 2x a day). Still in excruciating pain, I was able to get into the endodontist at 12:30pm. I was then told that it was very severe, and had reached the bone, and that's why my pain was so intense. When I asked the endodontist how this could even happen, he said that many times, (if you already have good dental hygiene), they receive patients from improper practices during the crown replacement by the dentist/hygienist, not fitting well, or missed canals that weren't cleaned properly before placing the crown. Again, I've NEVER had any major dental issues, and pride myself on great teeth health. Come to find out, when Cobblestone repaired a cracked crown back in August 2025, the infection started then. I'm extremely frustrated that this was caused by that replacement, and that it was avoidable. The endodontist at Acacia was AMAZING, and properly handled the infection in 2 sessions (2 weeks apart). I wish they did regular dental maintenance so I could go there instead for future cleanings and dental work. This caused me to seek out a completely different dental office because of this mishap with Cobblestone. Unfortunately, when seeking out another dentist, I was told it would be best to finish the closing at Cobblestone, because they would be responsible for future issues. I don't want any future issues. I'm nervous because I don't want them to cause another infection. Now I'm booked 3 weeks out to get the proper closing, as the endodontist only applied a temporary closing. Mind you, the endodontist recommended being seen within a week. Well, that won't happen. I'm praying that nothing happens in the 3 week waiting period for Cobblestone. I would just recommend that patients be mindful of this when getting work done here.

Dr. Shah took 15 seconds with me and left me with more questions than answers. The technicians took xrays prior. He stepped into the room said “there is a gray area you’ll need a root canal” and walked out. He had no time for any of my questions and did not stop to talk to me about options or what was happening. I happily cancelled with him and drove two hours to my old dentist in north Scottsdale instead. I would not recommend this dentist for anything other than cleaning.

Extremely impressed staff and Hygenist was very gentle when doing my cleaning. I had full mouth x-ray and cleaning all in one appointment. Imagine that!! In the past with other dental offices It usually takes 2 appointments to do both. Dr. Shah came in took a look, everything was good. Found no cavities. I had gone to a previous dentist, said I had 3 cavities. I highly recommend this dental office.

I can’t say enough good things about this dental practice. I don’t have dental insurance and am a cash-pay patient, and I originally came in for an emergency appointment. From the very beginning, they were kind, thorough, and never once made me feel pressured. They took full X-rays, explained everything clearly, and walked me through a treatment plan — but at no point did they make me feel like I had to book anything or feel bad about how much work I needed or how anxious I was. After reviewing the treatment plan at home, I booked a filling appointment, which went great. The dental hygienists and dentist were efficient, gentle, and genuinely kind. Because of that experience, I felt comfortable enough to schedule my next appointment for three extractions (which I was understandably very nervous about). The day of the extractions, the dental hygienist checked on me constantly, and the dentist worked so quickly and smoothly that when he finished, I honestly asked if all three teeth were already out — it was that easy. The front office staff also deserves a huge shout-out. They are incredibly kind and patient, especially with my anxiety (I’m sure I’ve made a few nervous phone calls), and they’ve never once made me feel rushed or judged. This practice truly makes you feel safe, respected, and supported. They don’t make you feel ashamed that life happened — they help you move forward without judgment. I’m continuing my care here and already have my next appointment scheduled. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone, especially those with dental anxiety or without insurance

Wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and efficient. I needed a crown, it was done the same day and I thought the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend Cobblestone Dental
