Grace Maricopa

We have been here several times and have really enjoyed it. First of all as you are going in to the church you’ll meet several people that greet you at the door, hold the door for you etc - they are a very friendly bunch! It is a small church true, but the hospitality is genuine. The music is not from a huge band or orchestra but is well thought out and (at least every time we’ve visited) scripturally sound. The words are up on a screen and the songs honor the Lord and praise and thank Him for who He is. The sermon is not high energy but deep with the pastor including some of the Greek meanings, the historical background and other things I appreciate in a sermon. No fluff! They list several opportunities to get involved in extra church activities and Bible studies and also have a youth program. They are active in their community. I looked at some of the reviews and comments like ‘‘people/ staff staring at their phones” or “concerns over how many snacks people take” are issues I would imagine at every church. People are people and we are all fallen. Grace Maricopa church is our go-to when we are visiting Maricopa, AZ, and if you’re in the area I encourage you to check it out!

Grace Maricopa is truly a blessing to this community! From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of a big, loving family. The sermons are always deeply rooted in Christ's teachings and Pastor Dan does a phenomenal job teaching the Bible, making it easier to understand. Pastor Michael is a gem to our church, my family really enjoys his preaching style he has so much passion for our Lord I can guarantee you won’t regret catching one of his sermons. I love that Grace offers something for every member of the family, old and young. Sunday morning Children’s Church ministry is such a blessing for my younger my kids to learn biblical teachings and play fun games they are always excited to go to church. My older youth enjoy serving as helpers in the classes of their younger siblings. They offer options for Grace groups different days and times during the week to connect people, read the Word and build community everyday, not just on Sundays. It's such a wonderful place to grow in faith with other believers thank you Grace Maricopa!

When I first visited Grace Maricopa in January 2024, I was a pregnant first-time mom looking for a church where I could grow in my faith and feel genuinely welcomed. From the very beginning, the people were kind, caring, and intentional about making me feel at home. Over the past two and a half years, this church has become such a blessing to my family. The preaching is faithful to God's Word, Christ is at the center of every sermon, and I've grown more in my understanding of Scripture here than I have anywhere else. If you're looking for a church that values biblical teaching over entertainment, you'll find that here. Like many churches, Grace Maricopa has gone through seasons of transition, and they're currently making improvements to the property. But what has remained constant is the heart of the church: a congregation that loves the Lord, loves His Word, and genuinely cares for people. I'm incredibly thankful God led my family here. If you're looking for a church where you'll be welcomed, encouraged, and challenged to grow in your walk with Christ, I highly recommend visiting Grace Maricopa.

So I visited here a handful of times and here's some observations if you are planning on visiting. The parking lot is literally dirt so avoid anything with a heel. The people look like they are in their own little world but tell me these are the best sermons in Maricopa. I think they are the longest so does that make them better? He says that this church goes against the world but then tells us he's bi-polar and then talks about his social media and politics? The sermons are so good that I see the staff and other people sleeping and snoring. When returning from the restroom, another review all in itself, you get to see everybody on their phones and even church volunteers surfing the web and playing candy crush-like games. They serve coffee and refreshments but that too seems to be a this church only ritual as I saw a few people take large bags of cookies and other refreshments then place them in their scooter baskets and purses. Gluttony. Everything about this church is artificial. It's just so weird.

I have been attending this church for almost two years now and from the beginning, this church has welcomed my family with open arms. The growth my family has seen as a result of the faithful preaching, and family environment is unmatched. Please, join us on Sunday!
