Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) – Maricopa

I've seen good reviews, but I'd like to know if there are Spanish subtitles. I'd love to go!

Went for the Sunday 11:00a.m. service as a newcomer and wasn’t greeted at the door by any volunteers or staff, though there were staff and volunteers in the lobby area and near the grill area. Not sure if that’s because it’s like a Mega Church atmosphere or what, but got a lukewarm welcome ( a brief hello in passing) by one person near the entryway of the worship center a few minutes before the service. It felt about the same as the 19th Ave location a couple weeks ago - not real welcoming. I did at least get a warm greeting when I visited the cafe for a snack prior to the service. There was music at the start of the service and then one of the pastors came up and gave some visitor and baptism statistics for the Easter service at this location and all of the CCV campuses combined. It was good to hear about the large numbers of parishioners who were present for the Easter services as well as the substantial amount of people who chose to get baptized there and around the valley at the other CCV campuses. After the statistics were given he introduced the pastor who was giving the sermon and he gave a pre-recorded sermon regarding making a full commitment to Jesus Christ. It was a nice and meaningful service.
