2 months agoI accompanied my mom to her appointment and brought my kids. During the visit, the doctor began asking several questions about my two-year-old son who has autism. He was simply stimming and minding his business on his tablet, but the doctor commented that he seemed “overly happy” and said that wasn’t good. The appointment was for my mom, not my child, yet the conversation kept shifting to him even after we tried to redirect it. It made me uncomfortable that personal questions about his diagnosis and behavior were being asked during someone else’s visit. As a parent, I felt the situation could have been handled with more sensitivity and respect for boundaries.

7 months agoIt seems they rarely answer their phone and the mailbox to leave a message is often full. Apparently, one must show up in person simply to make an appointment.
